These crystals were created with Blender to explore textures.
In printmaking, a technique called lithogrpahy, preserves the qualities of the original drawing after it's printed. The drawing lines, texture, and tone all remain.
Using the nosie generated in 3D rendering instead of trying to erase it provides a similar grain to the litogrphic process.
Three images show the grain and three are clean.
